More on Kalsarpa Yoga-II
As in my last article on this topic, I gave an example on how did the so-called "Kalsarpa Yoga" was ineffective to the native.
I was reading an article in Express Starteller Magazine in one of its issues, where an astrologer discusses about the
ill-effects of Kalsarpa Yoga in that article.
The astrologer also quote the source of Kalsarpa Yoga, which was quoted previously by Late Prof. P.S. Sastri
in Astrological Magazine of December 1965. Let me put the sloka again here for everyones reference:-
Agre rahuh ante ketuh,
Sarve Madhya gata graham,
Yogam Kalasarpakhyam,
Nripa Shasya Vinasanam
The meaning is clear for one who knows Sanskrit-"Rahu in Front, Ketu should be in last, all planets should be within Rahu-Ketu axis.
This "Yoga" or combination is named as "Kalsarpa". Results??Nripa Shasya Vinashanam----Nripa or ruler & grains are destroyed.
My question to Kalsarpa Yogis are who is the ruler of this body???You??
It cannot be you as the ruler & owner of this body is the Atman, as Shri Krishna said in Gita, that this
body, composed of Pancha Mahaabhuta is "Kshetra" & the owner, whose body it is the "Kshetrajna".Now how will the souls be
destroyed??It can either take rebirth else be merged with the Paramatman.
The aforesaid sloka is certainly not relevent for natal astrology, as we do day to day in our practise. It is relevent for
Mundane Astrology.(we should not forget that the aforesaid sloka was mentioned without any source!!)
Probably that astrologer doesn't know sanskrit else, he is there to frighten his customers. Now my questions to Kalsarpa Yogis-
which scholars' sloka you have to support Kal Amrita Yoga (or in short, KAY!!)?
I know, they dont have any answer to it. Either they will ignore this question or cook a sloka from some text.
Again that astrologer while explaining that Sloka gave explanation to only the first 3 lines as mentioned before, but overlooked/ignored
what is there in the fourth line.
This is simply deceiving people in the name of astrology. Next comes those people, who visits astrologers to know only a one-line
answer---Whether they have Kalsarpa Yoga or not?A fool consulting another fool, is fooled again. Even if he doesn't have
the so-called combination, the consultor fool is supposed to believe & utilise all his
deposits in performing remedies.It is like one blind, showing the path to another blind.
Such practises should be protested & stopped with immediate. Now these people give example of eminent personalities like
Pt. Jawaherlal Nehru, & what not.These people say that all planets to be in Rahu-Ketu axis, upto degrees, while they dont see that
Nehru had Jupiter beyond Ketu in Sagittarius. Will be Kalsarpa Yoga??or another yoga called "Partial Kalsarpa Yoga"???
Again, they know the answer to it.
I was just browsing my chart collections day before yesterday. It is a typical case of
The Classical KSY. Once upon a time, was my friend, with whom I studied for 2 years during my +2, i.e. from 2002 to 2004.
He shared his birth details with me, when he got to know about my interest in Vedic astrology.He had few issues.
No. 1---He was weak in studies. When our Class-12 results(ISC) were out almost all passed in all subjects, but he
flunked in one subject, in the year 2004, which I heard, he never bothered to clear.
No. 2---His concerns about his love life.Though he claimed that he was a Casanova, till we took admission, in the same
school where he was studying, but for the next 2 years, nothing appeared to be credible.
Unfortunately, his father passed away during the Class-12 school finals, on March 18th, 2004.It was the Dasa of Sun MD & Sun AD.
Rather the Sun Dasa only started, to create this havoc to his life.
During that time, it was difficult for me to find an astrological reason for this mishap.But this death is not a result
of KSY as many would opine.The reason for this death was heart attack. Lets get into the chart & try to find out, what can be the possible reasons.
- It was the Dasa of 12th lord, who is with 3rd & 8th lord from Lagna.
- Sun is aspected by Saturn(5th house lord & 6th house lord) & Jupiter(4th & 7th lord.
- From 9th house, Sun is the 4th lord, who is further joined by the lord of 7th house & 12th house from itself.
- If we consider the 9th house as "Pitri-Sthana", Saturn aspects from 6th house, while Jupiter from 7th house, being the 8th lord & also 11th lord.
- Sun being the 12th lord is in the Nakshatra of Mercury, who is the lord of Lagna & 10th house.So, Sun being a negative planet, occupying a
positive house & positive nakshatra is not good.
What is his condition today?He passed B.Com in the year 2007, successfully, but with 2nd division. Since 2007, he couldn't work
out on what to do. To do MBA or do some work.Look at his 5th house again. Lord of 5th house is exalted, but he is in Mars'
Nakshatra.Presently, he is in the Dasa of Sun MD & Venus Bhukti.Venus being the natural benefic for this Lagna, being the lord of
2nd house & 10th house, occupying own Nakshatra, & being Vargottam, seems to shift him from studies to work, within Venus AD, within next year.
I am not in touch with him for the past 3 years, due to loads of differences, but I get to know what he is planning to do in future.
So, as I said, KSY again had no role to play in this chart. He was born in an affluent family & whatever he did, were the result of his past deeds & own actions of this present birth.
I hope that this is my last article on /against Kalasarpa Yoga.Now I will not speak much about it;not only I have created few enemies, but I also I got friends, who appreciated my efforts against misconceptions like KSY & stuff.
If God wants, may be in future, I need to "roar" again...Who knows???
