I have been studying astrology for the past five years, by God's grace.
Many a times, I have given incorrect predictions, either it was my fault, or
the birth data was entered incorrectly, or incorrect data was given. Let’s
not discuss about it. When it comes to my fault, I certainly admit & I
will admit it. However, in this case, people should not condemn astrology as
a subject. Once they come to know more about this subject & go deeper
into the subject, they will get to know.
Once during my classes in college, when we were studying about alcohols
our professor gave us a small example. The manager & the waiter both
might serve the same brand of beer, in the same way-but the manager will have
the passion to serve the beer, while the server will do that, only for the
sake of service. The Manager knows each & every droplet of beer, while
the waiter only knows how to serve it. This is an example of how one gets
into the deeper into the ocean of astrology & gets to relish it. Our
Upanishads say one who understands what is eternal bliss, he merges with it.
It’s quite true in astrology.
I have very limited knowledge of astrology, however, I don’t like judging
past events, or any events that it happening. What is happening is about to
happen, none other than almighty can stop it. But what about the future, may
be we can know more about it. It’s like alarm which the hostess in the flight
announces to fasten our seat belts when the plane is about to land or about
to fly, & when it reaches its target feet in sky above, they tell us to
loosen the belts. It’s the same principle applied in astrology.
“Fixing astrology” as one of my friends would say or I would term it to be
“Post-Mortem/Autopsy Analysis of events” should be stopped at any cost.
Thanks to the learned astrologers of India, who has given us multiple
methods of reading a chart. Let me name a few- Parasari, Jaimini, KP System,
SA(System’s Analysis), Nadi Jyotish, Nakshatra Jyotish & so on & so
forth. By this I am not condemning any of the systems or methods. It’s like
different roads lead to the same destination. You can go to Mumbai from Gujarat, from Kerala, from Rajasthan, from
Kolkata---ultimate destination is Mumbai. I am sorry to say, in many of yahoo
astrological forums, I see astrologers doing such kind of “Autopsy of Events”
after the event has taken place. Once the event takes place & when the
native informs the astrologer about this, it is easy for them to find a
reason—the native, if he doesn’t know about astrology, he is a fool, nothing
else. He can give innumerable reasons, planetary positions, & number of
Lagnas---Janma Lagna, Surya Lagna, Chandra Lagna, Arudha Lagna, Varnada
Pagna, Pranapada Lagna, Indu Lagna, Bhrigu Lagna, Shree Lagna, Bighati Lagna,
Hora Lagna, Ghati Lagna, Bhava Lagna. I am not telling that these are
unimportant. These are important & for specific reasons. I don’t use
& know much of these Lagnas. Even I had known, I wouldn’t have used too
much. You use too much, & you get lost in them which I believe. Worst
part of fixing astrology is you give predictions, & when the native
complains that it didn’t happen as you predicted, the astrologer soon changes
position & tells another reason. Again when it fails, the astrologer puts
his hands up & claims, your time of birth is wrong.
Let me give an example, of fixing astrology.
This person’s concern was regarding his job, which was posted in of the
famous yahoo astrological forum on January 8, 2008. He was jobless & was
looking for a job & posted his query. On the same day, he received an
answer from a so-called astrologer, who made a wild prediction. Let me quote
it here.
“Dear Amit , Namaskar
From July 2008 you will start something new, very independent which can
lead You to very good position, from January 2009 this will start more
serious. Until then recite Savitur Gayatri, that will help You a lot.
Regards,
XYZ”(I don’t want hurt anyone, we had personal conflicts & he claims
some baseless theories, so its needless to condemn him here).
Anyways, few others also posted addressing the native’s issues. The native
again posted his concern in the same forum after 5 days from his original
posting, to which the same astrologer responded,
“Dear Amit , Namaskar
You are in Shani-Budha dasa. This has anubhava in Shukra. Shukra is
cursed in Lagna, therefore bad experience
related to relationship issues and career (10L from Moon aspecting this
yoga). Shukra should be strenghted to break
Sarpa yoga, otherwise Your passions are too intense to be satisfied in
life. You should worship Hrshikesha and recite Savitur Gayatri - this
will help You very much in Your life.
AmK and 10L are connected to Simhasana Yoga so after initial setbacks
You will get quite good position in life. But from 2009 to 2013 You
should definitely do many many many Savitur Gayatri mantras.
2009 will be very important year when it comes to fame, career and
especially spirituality.
Lord Narasimha is Your ishtadeva.
Dont wear pearl, yellow saphire and red colours.
Instead wear white and yellowish colours.
Until June you will have some foreign connections/travels.

So now you have seen how predictions change in 5 days timeline!!!
Now the native being frustrated, again posted this year, to which he
received from the same astrologer, i.e. Mr. XYZ. Let’s see what was his
response.
Dear Meenakshi ,(the message was sent in this name)
That demands rectified D10 chart. Now its Mangal dasa which is AmK
therefore its trouble dasa on market job. Me and Mo are connected to
11H from VL so advise is to work with money.
Normally in Surya dasa which is Feb native should get the job as Surya
will give effect of Shani in D10. Budha again is in artha kona here
which indicates working with computers, language, accounting, media,
finances as best choice.
This being in Kumbha shows social worker. All these are in Aries which
is sixth bhava in D1 that shows lot of labuor for native.
