Aishwarya Rai Bacchan, Bacchan Family & Media It was just a year before when a former Miss Universe & now an actress of Bollywood got married to Junior Bacchan. The matter was hyped than any other star marriage. The media had an important role to play in this regard--- from Manglik till arrival at Mannat! The media also hired astrologers who claimed to have the correct birth details of both Aishwarya Rai & Abhishek Bacchan. If there are so many circulated birth charts, who can assure that one he possesses is the correct one?? No sooner after marriage, Shahenshah of Bollywood got into legal battles with Income Tax Department, issues regarding land in Uttar Pradesh & Maharashtra while his ailing mother passed away in the midst of all these problems. Again Media to prove its dominance, hired astrologers from various parts of India to prove that Aishwarya Rai is a Manglik & the results are these disasters!! What is the Manglik ? I guess it means something that is benign in nature, however, the word that we use has been corrupted by our usage. Actually we mean to say Dosha or evil due to Mars (like Kuja Dosha, Bhouma Dosha or in South India, known as Chevvai Dosham). This occurs due to placement of Mars in Lagna, 4th house from Lagna, 7th house from Lagna, 8th house from Lagna & finally 12th house from Lagna. We will talk about the results later. It is nothing very frightening, just you need to be concerned once you see such yoga in a horoscope. However, it has its exceptions ----- (I) If Saturn or Rahu is there any of those aforementioned houses barring the one where Mars is there, then the Yoga gets cancelled. However, if Saturn/Rahu or both joins Mars in any of those houses, the Yoga becomes strong. (II) If Mars is exalted, in Multrikona or own house the Yoga gets cancelled. (III) If aspected by Jupiter, while Mars is a functional benefic (specially for people born with Cancer & Leo Lagna). All these are classical dictums; nothing of my own. What happens if the Yoga is not cancelled in birth horoscope? Classics say that such Dosha results into premature loss of spouse. Any upayas then?? We see some astrologers either suggesting expensive upayas by means of Homa, donations, wearing precious stones. Does any classic text on astrology suggest that?? Classics say it is beneficial for one having such Dosha to get married to one who has similar Dosha, as by this the Dosha is nullified. I remember once in a Yahoo group once looking at Aishwarya Rai's chart, opined that the Kuja Dosha in her chart is nullified & that she will get married to Abhishek Bacchan, most likely to take place between 2006 to 2007.Many people protested, to which I also pounced back as usual. However, the gamble of the Kuja Dosha continues. Now a year has passed -- during this period of year, we had been witnessing frequent visits to Siddhi Vinayak Temple (on barefoot as well) by Shahenshah with his kith & kin. A news channel who had been hiring astrologers & also getting Upayas from various astrologers regarding the Kuja Dosha of Aishwarya Rai- what to be done & what not to be done, was portraying that benign effects of Aishwarya Rai Bacchan on the Bacchan Family. It was aired on April 20th, 2008 at 9 am in that channel. I was just perplexed to see such a change. Wasn't this the same channel who has been discussing the ill-effects of Mars in Aishwarya Rai's chart, which also resulted into broken relationships in past?? What will they say now--- role of transits or cancellation of Kuja Dosha? Such is the role of media--- it can make you a king & can also pull down your name!!
